Most boats don't wear out — they fade at the dock from neglect. Standing Watch exists so that never happens to yours. Hand us the keys, and we handle the rest: washdowns, engine and systems checks, detailing, vendor oversight, storm preparation and concierge trip prep.
Want to spend the day on the water instead of running the boat? Our licensed captains take the helm for daily outings, so you can enjoy the time with family and friends. We also handle boat deliveries, boatyard work, and full-time captain and crew placement.
Every visit ends with a photo-documented condition report, so whether you're across town or across the country, you always know exactly how your vessel is doing.
Standing Watch Yacht Management was founded by Captain Brad, a marine professional who has spent his career working on the water in South Florida's boating industry. This isn't a call center or a franchise — when you sign on, you get a direct line to the person responsible for your boat.
From weekly washdowns on a 30-foot center console to full management programs for 50-meter yachts, Captain Brad and his team treat every vessel like it's their own — because their name is on every photo report that lands in your inbox.

Complete boat and yacht management services for every vessel — from center consoles to 50-meter motor yachts.

USCG-licensed, insured delivery captains moving vessels of any size — coastal Florida, the Bahamas, and interstate runs up and down the East Coast.
The most common reason owners call us. Your new boat is at a broker's dock, a boat show, or a seller's marina three states away. We handle the pre-departure inspection, sea-trial her on the way out, and bring her to your home dock — so your first day aboard is a good one, not a stressful one.
Moving to a new marina, a new city, or migrating with the seasons — south for the winter, north for the summer, or across to the Bahamas. We run the boat there on your schedule so she's waiting for you when you arrive, fueled and cleaned.
Shallow inlets, shifting sandbars, the Intracoastal's bridge schedules, Gulf Stream crossings, night passages — routes you haven't run are where boats get hurt. Our captains run these waters constantly. Ride along and learn the route, or leave it entirely to us.
A 400-mile delivery is a multi-day commitment of planning, weather-watching and helm time. If you can't take the days off, we can. Fly in and enjoy the destination; we'll handle the miles in between.
Haul-outs, refits, surveys and boat shows all mean moving the boat. We take her to the yard, oversee the work while she's there, and bring her home when it's done — one call covers the whole trip.
Pre-departure systems inspection · passage plan with weather routing and safe harbors · fuel management · licensed & insured USCG captain · daily position updates by text · photo-documented condition report on arrival. Quoted per trip by distance and vessel — call (954) 335-6444.
"On a well-run vessel, someone is always standing watch. On yours, that’s us — every week, every system, every detail, documented."— The Standing Watch Standard

Dockside yacht and boat care at private docks, condominiums and every major marina — from the Palm Beaches to the Keys.
Standing Watch Yacht Management is a full-service yacht management and boat management company in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, serving boat and yacht owners across South Florida — Miami, Miami Beach, Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Pompano Beach, Hollywood, Dania Beach, Aventura, Jupiter and the Florida Keys. We take over the ongoing care of privately owned vessels of any size — from 20-foot center consoles to superyachts — so their owners spend their time boating, not maintaining.
Every managed vessel is placed on a written cleaning and maintenance schedule. Depending on the plan, that includes bi-weekly freshwater washdowns, interior and exterior detailing, waxing and stainless polishing, engine room inspections, oil and fluid checks, battery and charger testing, bilge pump verification, generator and air-conditioning runs, zinc/anode replacement and bottom-cleaning coordination. Small problems get caught at the dock before they become haul-outs. After every single visit the owner receives a photo-documented condition report — so owners who live out of state always know exactly how their boat is doing.
Our USCG-licensed captains run your boat for daily outings so you can relax with family and friends on the water instead of standing at the helm. We also handle coastal and interstate boat deliveries, monthly exercise sea runs, and — for larger yachts — recruiting and placing full-time captains and crew, including payroll coordination.
When a vessel needs yard work, we manage the entire boatyard process: sourcing and negotiating with marine contractors, supervising bottom paint, fiberglass, electronics and mechanical work, and verifying every job before the owner pays. During hurricane season we prepare every managed boat before a named storm — doubling dock lines, stripping canvas and coordinating haul-outs.
Standing Watch serves owners of center consoles, sportfish boats, cruisers, motor yachts and superyachts of any size, at private docks, condominiums and every major South Florida marina. Flat monthly plans run from $2,500 for boats up to 40 feet to bespoke proposals for superyachts above 38 meters, with parts and third-party services billed at cost. One call, one point of contact, available 24/7: (954) 335-6444.
